An Uplifting Read

Have you ever felt inspired by someone’s words of wisdom?

Reading Tracy Tutor’s first novel called, “Fear is Just a Four-Letter Word” was more than a life changing read for the both of us. Not only was it filled with funny experiences of her life, but she incorporates some valuable relatable advice anyone can incorporate in their daily lives.

We first got to know Tracy and her unique personality as a cast member on our favourite show called, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. She is a top real estate agent in Beverly Hills and is the first and only female co-star to appear on the show. Watching Tracy on the show made it quite evident that she is a very confident and strong woman. She always stays true to herself, speaks her mind and is a hard-working mom of two daughters. The one aspect of Tracy that we truly love is that her communication skills are on point. She also knows when to implement her humorous side even in stressful business situations.

On a personal note, we have never read a book like this before. But, allowing ourselves to explore more personable reads like Tracy’s book gave us more insight about how we can improve in our lives and how we can utilize Tracy’s expertise as females.

We obviously don’t want to spoil all the details of Tracy’s well-written masterpiece, but one thing you can keep in mind is that within each chapter, she ensures to include an important lesson that we all can relate to. It does not matter if you are a real estate agent or even business-oriented, Tracy’s mindset and tips can for sure guide anyone down the right path toward success.

It is very difficult to choose which part of the novel was our favourite, but the one that really resonated with us was the eighth chapter called Refocus. In this chapter, Tracy discusses the importance of refocusing when life seems to be taking a new direction. She shares her personal secrets about how she revaluates her life and allows herself to trust risky change. She brings up her experience in transitioning career paths that in the end, made life more enjoyable. Tracy’s intention wasn’t always to be a relator but a successful actress. As time passed, she realized she did not want to pursue acting anymore. The one major take away we learned from Tracy is to trust our instincts, be confident and most of all become comfortable with a changing mindset.

We totally recommend this read to anyone. Tracy definitely motivates readers to take a step back and think about areas of personal improvement that will only have positive impacts in the future. No matter how strongly affected you are by her words or experiences, reading this novel will grant you with all the tools you need to carry on as a more strong-willed, and wise individual.

You have to learn how to leave your fear of outcome behind, especially if you want to shift your focus and find the next phase of yourself and your life.
